Adhesion of a cured coating layer on the substrate, given in N/mm², based on intermolecular forces between coating and substrate. Two preconditions for sufficient coating adhesion are the presence of suitable functional groups and the surface's purity from nonadherent impurities. Both can be accomplished by plasma treatment.
